Prof.Jude Lubega is a professor of Computer Science and currently serves as the Deputy Vice Chancellor of Uganda Technology and Management University.
The Deputy Vice-Chancellor deputizes the Vice Chancellor. He assists the Vice-Chancellor in the performance of his or her functions and in that regard is responsible for the Academic affairs of the University. In the absence of the Vice-Chancellor, he or she performs the functions of Vice-Chancellor. He/she also performs such other functions that may be delegated to him or her by the Vice Chancellor.
Prof. Jude Lubega previously served in Makerere University as the Deputy Dean and the Head of the Information Technology Department of the Faculty of Computing and IT. He is an experienced ICT4D consultant and has undertaken numerous researches and projects both nationally and internationally. He is a member of several boards and has won several research funding to undertake ICT4D projects.
Dr. Jude Lubega, holds a PhD in Computer Science (E-Learning) from the University of Reading, United Kingdom
