Dr. Maria Barifaijo is an Educational Leadership and Management Specialist with a specialization in Human Resource Management & Development. She is an associate consultant for Radix management consulting and also Heads the Department of Educational Leadership and Management, in the School of Management Sciences at Uganda Management Institute (UMI). She has had leadership, training and consultancy experiences in HE Systems, Human Resource Management, Professional Development and Research for over 20years.
She is the Vice-Chairperson of the African Networking Internationalization of Education (ANIE). She is a coordinator of the Gender and Equity Budgeting (GEB) (a National Program). She is an international Consultant on Educational Leadership and Management, Change Management and Professional Development. She possesses conceptual, analytical and human skills. She is a problem solver. She possesses excellent counseling, public relations as well as Interpersonal skills. She is self-driven, reliable, a team player, results oriented and a “people person”.
